• SAATH is a non-governmental organization, registered as a Public Charitable Trust (E-7257) on 28 February1989 with the Charity Commissioner, Ahmedabad.

• SAATH is registered under the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act, 1976 (FCRA Reg. No. 041910159).

• SAATH is registered under Section 12a of the Income Tax Act, 1961

• All donations are exempted from Tax under section 80-G

• In 2008, SAATH applied 98.17% of funds to programming with the balance allocated to administrative components.

• SAATH's 2008 annual report is available here.  The Internal Audit has been conducted by an external audit firm.  Please see pages 22 - 25 of the annual report for more detail.

• All transactions will be made in INR at the current exchange rate.  Rates posted on saathdonation.org are based on prior day's close and are should not be regarded as exact.
  

Legal Notice

All contributions to Saath Charitable Trust are used by Saath to further its charitable purposes and objectives. Contributions for a particular cause will be used for that activity, but in the rare event that unforeseen problems prevent carrying out a project as planned, the contributions for that project will be used to benefit Saath's constituents, including citizens of slum communiites and villages.  If more funds are received than are necessary to fund a project as planned, the excess funds will be used to benefit citizens of slum communiites and villages. Further written information concerning this or other programs is available upon request.
