Community participation forms the essence of each of Saath's developmental efforts. Empowering local people, to ensure that they are able to carry on the process of sustainable development, is the chief motto of Saath. Since 1990, Saath has worked with the slum residents to set organised community based organizations, which facilitate savings, access to information and services and provide communities a voice to seek change.
